My name is Angela Mattei, and I'm currently making my home in Austin, Texas along with my husband and three teen children and our two dogs. I love asking people questions, especially ones that get into the nuances of our lived experiences. The moments that bring us joy or make us uncomfortable or spark curiosity in us are often little windows into how God is at work in our lives. Holding open space for others to navigate Jesus' presence is sacred work and I tend to this space with great care.

 

I received my certification in Spiritual Direction through Baylor's Truett Seminary. I received a BA in Psychology from Texas State University, and am currently working on an MA in Religion at Seminary of the Southwest. I'm continually seeking to better understand what it looks like to offer trauma-informed spiritual companionship.
